White Wine Sangria

When the weather warms up and there is lots of in season fruit to choose from, that means one thing to me- Sangria! I love a drink that uses fresh fruit and since this recipe calls for chunks of it, you can finish off your drink with a strong fruit snack! I also find Sangria a great way to use a bottle of wine that isn't my favorite to drink on its own (sorry Sauvignon Blanc).

Serves 4

1 small orange halved and then cut in slices

1/2 cup grapes cut in half

5 large strawberries chopped

1/2 cup mango cubed

4 oz vodka- I like Tito's

1 bottle white wine like a Sauvignon Blanc

Splash of lemon flavored seltzer- Spindrift if possible

Add all the fruit into a glass container. Pour the vodka over it and cover with lid. Shake up container and refridgerate for about 6 hours.

Remove fruit from fridge and place into a pitcher. Pour in wine and stir together with a wooden spoon. Let sit in the fridge for 30 minutes. Pour into glasses and top with a splash of seltzer. Gently stir together and enjoy!
